Immigrant workers face a set of challenges along with opportunities that are unique in the creation of worker co-ops. These researchers and practitioners will describe the experiences of immigrant women in New York. Stories and studies discussed will include data from Cooperative Home Care Associates in the Bronx and the franchise model being developed for Cleaning Cooperatives.
