Every election lurches us towards -- or pulls us back from -- crisis. The stakes seem higher than ever for 2024, in the US and around the globe. The Block & Build message is simple – stop the bad, grow justice. We must do both and with fierce urgency. But re-fashioning our organizing apparatus to incorporate electoral organizing is a formidable challenge. We will digest our field experiences with organizers and strategists who are knocking on doors and share lessons as we battle to build an authentic democracy. As social justice warriors learn the tools of electoral organizing, we expand our ability to weave a winnable alchemy of politics, people, and policy. Join us for this in-person, interactive gathering to reflect on the Block & Build organizing strategy and identify our needs for 2024 and beyond.
For an introduction to the Block & Build organizing strategy, watch this webinar and read this article. Syllabus for reading groups available here.
Free and open to all. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited. Register today!
