Jess Turner is a Black herbalist, urban farmer, educator, and wild foods enthusiast who is helping marginalized communities build autonomy through land-based healing practices. Through Olamina Botanicals, she offers herbal consultations, workshops, plant walks, and gardening classes. She has studied herbal medicine at the Terra Sylva School of Botanical Medicine and taken classes at ArborVitae School of Traditional Herbalism. With comrades, she is in the planning stages of a worker-owned medicinal herb farm called Stellaria Farm Coop.
