Over ten years, Emilie Miyauchi has worked with grassroots food, agricultural, and environmental justice organizations in Baltimore, the Hudson Valley, and New York City, where she has managed the CSA [community-supported agriculture] and Farm Network of Just Food. Just Food is a non-profit, advocating for sustainable agriculture as well as food justice. At the Network, her projects have included initiatives to share resources, create peer mentorship opportunities, and strengthen collaboration between groups. Working with regional CSA Network farmers and advocates, she helped to develop the Charter of CSA for the U.S. and Canada.
