Deborah Olson directs Detroit-based C2BE, which provides legal, business-planning, marketing, and employee-training expertise to create living-wage jobs through employee ownership. Olson is the former chair of the National Center for Employee Ownership, a nonprofit organization in Oakland, California that provides information and research on employee stock plans. She currently serves as Board Chair of employee-owned Once Again Nut Butter Collective and is on the Board of Circle Pines Center, a co-op education and recreation center. She was also founder of the Capital Ownership Group at Kent State University, where she ran its global online think-tank and conference center on using ownership to counter the negative impacts of globalization. dgolson@c2be.org
