For the past nine years, Shar Habibi has been the Research and Policy Director of In the Public Interest, a resource center on privatization and responsible contracting at the Partnership for Working Families in Washington, D.C. From 2006-2009, she was the Michael and Alice Kuhn Public Policy Intern at the Center for Public Policy Priorities, an advocacy organization in the State of Texas. Her work there focused on State government contracting and the privatization of social services. Before that, she worked for a government procurement consulting firm. shabibi@inthepublicinterest.org
