Kavitha Iyengar, JD is a PhD Candidate in Jurisprudence and Social Policy at UC Berkeley, the Northern Vice President of UAW 2865 and served as Legal Coordinator for the UAW-UC 2022 Contract Campaigns. Her research focuses on welfare and worker organizations in the post-Reconstruction U.S. South. Through UAW 2865, she helped to bargain all four UC-UAW labor agreements and was an organizer during the GSR unionization campaign of 2021.
