Declan Cullen is an Assistant Professor in Geography at The George Washington University. He studies colonial development policy, histories of economic transitions, and how technology reshapes economies and cities. He has published this work in Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers, Environment and Planning A, Social and Cultural Geography, and Dissent Magazine, among others.
